First Baptist Church of Oak Park is grateful to its members, friends and other participants who support its work, ensuring the vitality of its ministry as it continues to respond to the emerging needs of its congregation, community and beyond, now and into the future.
To offer flexibility and better planning for Givers, arrangements have been made to enable tithes and offerings to be given electronically.
Please see the E-GIVING page to set up an account.
- Sunday Giving
Tithes and offerings are collected during the church service and are reported on a monthly basis. It is the largest source of support for the day-to-day operations of the church.
- Mission Giving
The church has been designating, through the years, 20% of its income to support Missions opportunities with ABC/USA and its affiliates, as well as other service/outreach needs such as the Community Food Bank and Cook County Jail Ministry.
With gratitude to the saints who have gone home before us, the church has an endowment, the income of which, augments operational needs. New endowments are being established, based on the donors specifications, to continue to provide additional sources for ministry support or to endow a specific ministry or purpose.
